Tamed card - Tommy Wonder - what wax?

Just a quick one. Tommy Wonders Wild card routine "tamed card" is among my favourites - what a great routine and act. So I'm getting all my acting skills in to it.

Currently I'm using a bit of double scotch tape to stick the two cards together. Tommy wonder uses wax, but what sort? There are so many different waxes out there - which one is best used to stick two cards together without smearing, getting black or otherwise ruining the cards? Hope you can help me.

Good question. I played with some different waxes and so far the best I've come up with is Finn Jon's roughing wax.
