Twas The Night (Relatively Speaking) Before Christmas

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

Twas The Night (Relatively Speaking) Before Christmas

Werner Herzog impostor reading a Christmas classic with existential embellishments. Incidentally, if you haven't checked-out Cave of Forgotten Dreams, it's out on DVD. Worth checking out if you're into exploring some of our ancestors first attempts of art and storytelling in a medium meant to outlast the storyteller. The extras section includes a mini documentary on the music used for the film. I think there is some potential there in incorporating that style of sound to a stage act. Stage magicians may want to check it out just for that sound bite.
