Does anyone know of a trick using two wooden tubes and three blocks with the same effect as Stratosphere? The red block is placed in the longer tube after the other two colored blocks are placed in it, but the red one appears on the bottom. This happens twice more. Then the red block is placed in the shorter tube. It once again appears at the bottom of the other two blocks in the longer tube. It has vanished from the shorter tube.
This trick was given to me by a magician when I was in Junior High School (I'm now retired), so it was many years ago. I've never seen it advertised in a catalog or online. It's a great effect and I've used it often, down through the years. Has anyone heard of this? Is there a name for it?

Ask David Hira or Scott Wells. They auctioned off one of these at the Austin, TX Magic Auction recently.
