FRAUD ALERT: DO NOT BUY FROM GREG REED

Postby Richard Kaufman » March 17th, 2002, 8:14 pm

An individual by the name of Greg Reed, who has sold items through our classified ads section in Genii, has been making fraudulent claims about the items (magician's tables and screens) and in fact has been buying these items from a furniture catalogue and re-selling them at greatly inflated prices. Once you receive the merchandise and discover that is not made for magical purposes and can't be used in the manner advertised, he refuses to give refunds.
He has been buying tables for $29 and selling them for $125! They are NOT magic tables and are closed on all four sides rendering them useless for a magician.
I would strongly advise you not to purchase anything from Gregory Reed who lives in Garrett, Kentucky unless you are absolutely certain of what you are buying and have the right to return it.

All these years later, he's still causing trouble. I just had a run-in with him on Facebook. Beware!
