Angels' new Luxor show

Postby Roger M. » February 28th, 2008, 2:47 pm

It's interesting to note that Criss Angels new show at the Luxor has posted a job for a professional bird handler with knowledge of magic and illusion.

It's a full time, permanent position with the new show.

BIRD HANDLER?....perhaps we've got a budding Lance Burton lurking beneath that "MindFreak" exterior.

Criss used to do birds when he was younger.

I suspect that CA's Luxor show will have more than a few surprises for his MindFreak fans.

A full time bird handler WITH a vets certificate and capable of giving "rapid medical attention to varied bird livestock" indicates a lot of birds!

Perhaps Criss will surprise us all.

I think Criss' show is eagerly anticipated by many ...

What a fantastic position to be in to have the full creative force and resources of Cirque at your disposal and to literally create something special without the usual constraints of small-time showbiz.

Criss deserves his success and let's hope that the Luxor show further builds on it.

Birds, beards, Cameron Diaz... perhaps a magic themed production of "La Cage a Faux" is in the works?
Mundus vult decipi -per Caleb Carr's story Killing Time

Odd response about why he has a beard, eh? I've heard he's afraid of being recognized by certain people he's antagonized and who've threatened him in response.

Yes, but I doubt seriously those homeless people have the ability to track him down to get their clothes back, Richard.
