That is just great! I can't believe anyone could get Ebay to do anything. Just to find their email is a job in itself.

I'm limited in my magic scope, as I really only collect Houdini items, but I followed this guy for a couple of years for some reason. I guess because he was just so unreasonable to say the least. I'm almost positive he has another Ebay id as he used to sell fairly often a year or so ago. You would know it when you saw a six page ad for a thumb tip. :D I forget his other id's but maybe someone here might.

Is there any relevance that the page is 'under construction' and there is a comment at the bottom which says 'we'll let you know when we're back on eBay'?

Also, there seems to be no mention of VeRO on that page...

He does have at least two Ebay ID's

busbymagic & jeff_busby_magic_inc

he has not been kicked off Ebay as an Ebay user, if he had, when you look at his Ebay feedback page, it would say so, unfortunatly both ID's are still current.

He may have been kicked out of the VERO group,,, however the disappearance of his VERO About ME, pages does not necessarily mean that. He may have closed those pages himself,, NOT all VERO members have "VERO About Me" pages, it is not required of them to have one, though Ebay suggests that they do so. As matter of fact, only a small percentage of them do. Also Ebay may have pulled the pages without kicking him out of the VERO membership, just because his pages were ambigeous (sp?) telling people that he will not shut down your auctions as long as you follow his rules:

First, If you sell A Busby or Fox item, you must accredit Busby as the trademark owner.

and later he stated in the page, that if you mention the name Busby or Fox, you have violated trademark laws, and may have your auction shut.

Talk about catch-22

so anyways,, we will have to wait to see if he has any power left with Ebay to have the new FOX items pulled.
