Jeffrey Cowan is a father!

Postby Jeffrey Cowan » April 5th, 2005, 4:57 pm

To my friends in magic, I'm thrilled to report that this morning my wife Annie gave birth at 34 weeks and two days to identical twin boys: Matthew Wexler (4 lbs and 14 oz) and Jason Benjamin (5 lbs and 1 oz). The boys are doing well given that they're a tad premature. They also are showcasing very natural, relaxed coin work along with decent classic passes. My wife is doing well too.

Given that we had anticipated their birth at the end of April, I can further report that prospects have improved substantially regarding my ability to see you at furture 4F gatherings. . .

Congratulations two times, Jeff!!!

Just remember, the misdirection is pretty much the same for both top and bottom changes.

Congratts...say goodbye to life as you know it.

But believe me when I tell you that it's a great road you are on now and well worth all the hell you will be going through the rest of your life as a father.

twins...wow...nice to know the doctor you chose knew how to do a double lift.

Congratulations Jeffrey. With identical twins, I see some cool illusions in your future. Maybe Copperfield will be contacting you. Congrats again to you & the whole family.

Congratulations!! As a twin and a father of three you will find out that before kids you had a lot more time. You can multi-task your next card effect during feedings. What's scary is that during those late night feedings  items being pitched on those infomercials actually start looking good. Good Luck.

Jeffery,

Congrats! As the father of twins you now enter in the somewhat exclusive Castle club of Dennis Forel and myself. Twice the work in half the time! Systems are the keyword.

Best of luck to your entire family.

Kirk

I've already started working on a confidential license agreement by which Mr. Copperfield can retain the services of my boys for his professional performances . . .

And thanks to the rest of my friernds for all of your good wishes. After two days, I've already gotten more out of fatherhood (and changed more diapers with the greatest of pleasure) than I had ever dreamed was possible. I've also acquired rougher hands from the constant washing than I've ever had. It's giving me palpitations just looking at a deck of cards. . .
