Sorry . . . my web host provider (network solutions) apparently is having technical difficulties. The site was working fine for the last couple of days . . . Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.

Good idea.

Dear Mr. Fantasy (200 pages, hardbound, 71 photo illustrations) is $35.00 (US and Canada, I'll pay priority postage) or $47.00 (rest of the world, airmail postage included). Send check or money order to:

John Bannon
P.O. Box 61016
Chicago, IL 60606

Orders will be sent out the next day.

Isn't technology grand?

Thanks, John

P.S. Please be advised it's all card tricks.

Hi John,
Is it possible to sign a Happy 21st Birthday on the book because I'm planning to get it for a friend who's birthday is on the 12th of June, which is the date the book is officially published....

I can remember 13 years ago when I for the first time watched a video from John Bannon full with amazing card magic: it was one of the best card effects I ever seen up to this date.

http://www.johnbannonmagic.com/ :

I think John should publish a brief text of the content of every effect in this new book on his web: is it gambling, math, memo stacks, weird, mental card magic or? New effects or old ones with a twist?

not that i'm complaining...but how come it took so long for this book to be out? i just read the following post at
http://geniimagazine.com/forum/cgi-bin/ ... 097#000022

it was 2003 and john said it's almost done, with only final editing, illustrations..etc..and he aimed to release it at early 2004..
but here we are , mid 2005 and it's finally gonna be released...
I'm no expert in book publishing..so just wanna ask if final editing really takes that long?
just asking out of curiosity

Geeeeezzzz.....needing a detailed table of contents....annoyed that it took "too long" to publish.

Hey guys....you know the reputation of John Bannon...you've seen his stuff and been thrilled. Do as many of us will do...., hit the web site and buy the damn book.

The response has been tremendous. The orders are being filled as quickly as possible but, due the sheer quantity, next day mailing was not possible. About half the orders received so far were mailed out on Friday. The rest will go out on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday).

Thanks again for your interest and support.

My signed copy of DMF arrived here in IRELAND on the 31st May having been posted in the USA on the 27th which was a record in my opinion.

First impression............ its one of the best books that I have come across in recent years.

At least any one of four effects contained are, to me, well worth the price of this book.

John's Out Of Touch was way too good to give away................ but thank you very much for it.

Now no mre hype unless I am promised commission.............

Cheers from the Emerald Isle,

Hi everyone,

Just received John Bannons new book and imho it is just superb!
Lets hope its not another ten years before John publishes again.

The ace assemblies are really cool.
Practical top notch material.

Out of touch is a winner which i shall be adding to my repertoire.

Would be interested to know which items have grabbed peoples attention.

Thank you Mr Bannon for a wonderful book!

Regards

John Carey :)

Dead Reckoning....
The presentation is great...I think there are similar tricks to this (though not quite the same concept) where the magicians will sort of ask the spectator to concentrate on the cards, or perhaps touch the spectator's hands to get some sense of the card...
but Bannon's 'stop' method is truely amazing!
Cheers

I like the presentation for the unlisted ace production. Nice verbal, time, and method cover for two Faros.

Also, gotta agree with eryanic: "Dead Reckoning" should be amazing to a spectator.

I fried two regulars at MC last week with "Iconoclastic Aces", and I've never learned an ace assembly before.

All you card magi -- get this book!

Is the content of his lecture note "Cardzilla is coming" pretty much the same as DMF??
"Cardzilla is coming" consists of
1.Directed Verdict,
2.Beyond Fabulous,
3.Trait Secrets,
4.Play It Straight,
5.Last Man Standing,
6.Wait Until Dark,
7.New Jack City,
8.Trick Shot.

4 of those effects can be found in DMF, and I believe "Directed Verdict" is from Smokes & Mirror...'Play it Straight' from Impossibilia...the rest I'm not quite sure.
So are the tricks in the book(s) improved/modified compared to the lecture note or are they the same?
