Ship Date for Seriously Silly?

Postby Guest » December 26th, 2004, 2:19 pm

In the ad it does not mention when the Ship Date is.

Has a date been set?

The website address in the ad takes your to a webpage that does not have the book listed.

Whats up?

The woman who's been laying out the book has taken longer than expected, and it's such a good book that we took a bit longer in the editing than originally thought. I hope the book should be mailed by the end of January. If you've paid by credit card, you won't be charged until just prior to the shipment of the books, and those who paid by cash won't have the checks deposited until the same time.
Frankly, putting a book out while editing Genii is a torturous process--very difficult.

Seriously Silly has been at the printer since the beginning of this week. I expect the ship date to now be the middle of February.

The printer will be done with Seriously Silly on Feb.22. It then gets shipped over to the warehouse and checked in (takes a day) and should be shipped the next day. So, shipping should occur on the 24th.

For what it is worth mine arrived yesterday (03/03) here in Australia.

It is well worth the wait.

Thanks to David for tipping so much real work and to Richard for publishing it.

Regards
Lindsay

First Australia and now Pennsylvania....I'm noticing a trend here, tomorrow people in Zimbabwa should have theirs.

Foreign customers who chose DHL delivery for a substantial additional charge will receive their copies sooner than a customer in the United States whose postage is included in the price of the book (and it is shipped media mail)if their books are shipped at the same time.

We know that Richard, you lil' devil! I received mine and gave it a read through (I'll study it now). Excellent book, very well written and I like Silly Billy's position on performing for children. I would ad this to my limited list of "must have" books for people who either perform for, or may perform for, children.

Mine came in on Saturday from Silly himself. He also enclosed a "silly wand" to thank us for our patience. What a class guy and a class book. Perhaps the most important book on children's magic yet.
