Coin in Bottle - quite superb!

Postby BarryAllen » October 30th, 2024, 6:00 pm

I have watched this countless times - it never fails to raise a laugh:

If only all magic club/convention performers were this funny and entertaining, I might not have avoided them like the plague for the last 40 years.

No doubt, so many of us can relate to the message covered within!

Thank YOU Master Payne, for sharing your presentation, that I've watched countless times on Youtube - and which has repeatedly given me countless laughs.

As an aside, Coin In Bottle is one of the strongest 'audience pleasers' that a Magician can perform. Long after they've forgotten which type or colour of coin went into whichever hand; or how many coins went through a table-top, etc; they will NOT forget a bloke who made their borrowed coin appear inside a glass bottle ("is it in there Sir" ) - and then shakes it back out again into their hand.

It's always the simple to follow effects, that stick in the memory.
