On Saturday May 25, 2024, after a five-year journey of exhaustive research and writing, Margaret Steele launched her new book, “THE GREAT BOOMSKY: The Many Lives of Magic’s First Black Superstar”. Magic luminaries/collectors Charles Greene, Dale Penn, and David Haversat were in attendance. After the book signing and an interview of Ms. Steele conducted by Hiawatha Johnson Jr., the event concluded with a delightful magic show. The show featured Mina Minekawa, Hiawatha Johnson, and Margaret Steele. It was a wonderfully informative and enlightening event. Congratulations to Margaret and everyone who worked so hard in making this book launch a resounding success.
