I've been revisiting Dai Vernon's Expanded Lecture Notes. I'd forgotten how good they were, particularly the notes at the back.
But - I'm bugged by a Jay Marshall note. "Top card draw off is enhanced by revolving top section."
What???
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: Top card draw off
This note is most likely referring to "To Show the Top Card", the first item in chapter four of Inner Secrets of Card Magic.

Not sure if it is the same thing that Brad suggests. There is no top section to be revolved as you are simply turning over a single card.

Re: Top card draw off
Well yes, but I was thinking it might be related to the bottom change, with the top section of the body to be revolved... which is likely to be even more wrong!
