iPhone app

Postby Justin Fraser » August 29th, 2024, 10:48 am

Normally I read Genii through the iPhone app. This morning it asked me to login back in.

My login (email address / password) does not work. I get the error that username or password is incorrect.

I am able to access through the website using my email address and password.

Strangely everything worked fine yesterday.

For some reason I have one User ID and password for accessing the Forum on my phone and a completely different set of credentials for accessing Genii on my computer.

Cheers

Andrew

Things were moved to a new server. Everything should work fine now.

Just tried again and the same problem is occurring.

Logging in to the website is still fine.

Justin, please email me your login and password for the app, and whether you are using Android or Apple, to moobooks@verizon.net.

Also, please tell me what error message you are receiving when you try to log in on the app.

Hi Richard,

Just tried twice to email you the info but I keep getting a failure notice when I send to the email address you provided.

Having similar problems. Go into the Genii app and I see the issues as always, but when I click on an issue, a window pops up and asks me for user name and password. Which it never did before, I enter name and password and gives me an error… wrong user id and password. Something’s changed. It also doesn’t give me a choice to reset password on my iPhone. I can login to the issues on my main computer.

Justin: PM me on Facebook. But my email addy works fine.

Stever: Yes, we know there are problems at the moment. All kinds of work is going on in the background which has temporarily (and unintentionally) disrupted things.
Everything will be sorted out shortly.

Everything seems to be working fine now.

One of the hiccups of moving to a new server I guess.

Checked my android app and noticed that it got some nice updates (dark mode, yes!) and seems to be working more reliably overall.
