Hello,
I've just made a new little ebook.
It's called "A Bite, my Dear?", and it can be found
here
A little warning though: Compared with my previous ebooks, this one isn't very good. So, I would not be at all upset if you decided to spend your $10 elsewhere.
Sincerely,
Tom Stone

You've got to love Tom Stone. He tells you his new e-book isn't that good.
Well, maybe it's not up to the high standards he set with his other e-books, but for $10 you'll find some interesting card effects, an almost impromptu bottle production from behind someone's arm, a prediction effect, and a reinvention of a trick I think few here will remember, "Pen & Tell." In this one, you draw a line with a marker on your arm and move the line up your arm.
I always find Tom's stuff fascinating, and his illustrations are among my favorites in all of magic. If you don't know Tom, otherwise known as the Warpsmith, here's an inexpensive way to meet him.
No, not up to his finest work, but there was much to enjoy.

"Not up to his finest work.." to paraphrase Matt Fields...
The funny thing is is that Tom Stones "not quite" material would be the class A starter stuff for most... And you have GOTTA try that bottle production... Jerry Andrus would absolutely LOVE it...

RFA Productions yeah... It is cool stuff.

I had the pleasure to met Tom when I lectured in Stockholm ... a bunch of us went out for a meal and some magic and I was seriously impressed by his thinking and talent and can't wait for his big book to appear ... I assume he will be a part of the Stockholm FISM ...

Thanks Danny. I'm very flattered!Originally posted by Danny Archer:

I can't wait either for the book to come out. A previous project has taken longer time than expected, so mine and Stephen Minch's work has been delayed - but hopefully it will be out later this year.
I've not been asked to participate yet. But don't worry, if I'm not going to work there, I'm going to compete - just for fun! :)

I'm sorry, Andy. All copies are gone. While I enjoy making these small manuscripts, writing and illustrating, I find it quite tedious to sell them - so I usually make a rather limited number of copies. That goes for the ebooks too. I maybe sold 80 copies of "Tracking Mr. Fogg", 50 copies of "Gravel" etc. And I guess that I'll stop selling "A Bite, my Dear?" sometime next week, as I need to focus my attention elsewhere then.Originally posted by Andy:

I hope my previous response was not misunderstood. Tom Stone is a highly creative magician, and all of his books are interesting and worthwhile.Originally posted by Tom Stone:

"A Bite, My Dear?" has some great magic and is a great value for the small money asked. Buy it before it disappears.

Tom not only thinks outside of the box, he refuses to see "boxes" or "brackets" or anything that restricts creativity. He stalks the "wild pendulum" and marches to the beat of a one-armed drummer who knows the sound of his hands, clapping.
Tom and I had far-flung chats in Lisbon a few years ago. I once sent him a challenge (a goof on the combinatorial stuff from the TRICK BRAIN) to come up with a trick using pineapples.
He did.
He deserves our support and attention.
Onward...

Thanks Jon, Matt, Tony for your kind comments. Perhaps I'll do another one soon, as I felt that this one was a bit below my normal standard.

Tom has always, based on everything I've seen, put out very solid material.
