Cardmen's Get Together

Postby Jack Shalom » May 12th, 2020, 8:25 am

Here's something remarkable I just stumbled on.

Richard Turner, Steve Forte, Jason England, Ron Conley, Damien Neman, Michael Weber and other card and magic greats--together.

Thank you for posting that, Jack. Some incredibly special video there. I really believe my card handling improved just watching! All of those amazingly talented people, and yet all so humble and nice. Turner is beyond inspirational - he entertained their socks off. I've had a deck in my hands all day, and there is no end in sight...

I've never seen the anti-faro in action. Seeing Paul Wilson do it several times in his hands and intellectually understanding what is taking place within those 2-3 seconds is quite a marvel of a move to behold.

I think Wilson uses it in a few interesting effects in the tutorial DVD

It is unfortunate that this was an invite-only, private get-together to spend time with a mutual friend, that was filmed against objections when the cameraman promised everyone, "this is just as a keepsake for me, no one else will see it."
