JFK Half Dollar with 3D Head

Postby Q. Kumber » November 5th, 2019, 12:48 pm

Would anyone happen to recall the name of the trick where the face on the half dollar has been pressed into a 3D shape?
I believe it was released in the 70's or 80's.
Thank you.

It's not the Profile/Skewer trick released by Garrett Thomas.

Much older, and sold in the 1970s.

I don't remember the name of the trick, but if you want one of the coins, check here.

The one Brad links to is claimed to have been sold as a souvenir at the New York World's Fair, which would place it at 1964/65.

Didn't the routine involve using a straw to 'inflate' the coin?
