Tim told me about it a while ago. I bought one immediately.

I received an email last Saturday. I, too, jumped right on board.
In fact... the box arrived this afternoon. Looking forward to digging in!

Mine also arrived today. Went to see "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," so have not been able to open it yet.

Re: Pieces of Strange
Just received Pieces of Strange yesterday. What an absolutely cool collection of stuff & accompanying books. I love things like this and look forward to slowly working my way through it all. Kudos to the team that put this together!
Also received the latest issue of Gibecière yesterday. Great articles, as usual! Plus a wonderful tribute up front to Ricky Jay. Also, love the leather cover. Not sure if that’s special for this issue but it’s stunning and hope it’s the new binding going forward!
So much great stuff in one day! It’s as exciting as getting the Karakuri Creation Group’s annual box of “Christmas present” puzzle boxes every year—so much cool stuff to explore all landing at once!

Re: Pieces of Strange
It’s an unusual film.
It lets you down at the end, yet it confirms Tarantino as a filmmaker and Pitt and DiCaprio and Robbie as great movie stars.
Overall an enjoyable film.

Re: Pieces of Strange
I absolutely loved 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood'. Loved the slow burn. Loved the climax. ANd, yes, Brad Pitt is a goddamned movie star.
As for Pieces of Strange, I've been on the fence (if there are any left now). I picked up a couple of the other small releases (fun stuff).

Re: Pieces of Strange
It didn't let me down at the end at all. Quite the opposite.
Travis, I think you would enjoy Pieces of Strange. It's not a box of regular magic tricks. Lots of odd and offbeat stuff, optical illusions, and so on.

I loved the ending, too, Richard.
Cool, re POS. I just may pick one up.

Re: Pieces of Strange
I am interested in the Feng Shui trick.
Has anyone seen it?

Feng Shui
With Feng Shui, you help your spectator find the imbalance in his own home and prove you are right with amazing and hilarious results. When your spectator goes to examine the room he chose for himself, he discovers that things are not as they should be. This is an effect that uses anyone's entire house, condo or apartment. This is something that your family, friends and spectators have never seen before but will talk about for years to come. It's personal to them. It's easy to perform, close to self-working and there's nothing else like it anywhere. Comes with a beautifully designed "Feng Shui Diagnostic Kit" that will last a lifetime.

I don't see how the effect or method of the routine on page 19 of the Steinmeyer book is related.
More insight?
