Don Wayne has passed away

One of the best minds in magic has passed away. I was informed by my dear friend Mark Kalin this morning that Don Wayne has passed away today. i have no other info. Don was a good friend who invented some of the best magic of the last 50 years. His illusion work for David Copperfield is legendary. I proudly owned and performed his floating ball in the original production of Spellbound. Aloha Don.

Don died in hospital with friends and his brother present. He recently had a several neck and spine fractures that led to hospitalization. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma which is generally asymptomatic until it is in it's advanced stages. Therefore, treatment is very difficult and not always an option. I knew and worked with Don for over 40 years and he was one of my closest friends. A loss to us all.....
