Help forcing a numbered enevelope
Someone sent me some instructions on an easy way to have an item put into and one envelope of 6 and force that envelope, however I had a hard drive crash and lost everything. I need them to to put it in ( seemingly freely ) the numbered envelope that is your force number. Any help would be much appreciated, you can email me at shomemagic@gmail.com

Re: Help forcing a numbered enevelope
There are many ways of forcing items like envelopes, from six or even more envelopes, but it would take all day to guess which method you are referring to. Here's a bunch from The Magic Nook: https://www.magicnook.com/wizJ08/wj0801.htm

6-Way Box Prediction - https://www.magicnook.com/WizJournal/WJ-33ALL.htm and scroll down to item 6.
I hope one of those refreshes your memory or helps you to describe what you are looking for in greater detail.

Re: Help forcing a numbered enevelope
What I want to do is show 6 envelopes numbered 1 to 6, I want my spectator to put items say a blank bill into each one and to place a 100.00 bill into envelope number 4 ( my force number ) which seems to be a free choice. this is the general idea but not what Im doing with this.

Re: Help forcing a numbered enevelope
How about this: have six envelopes with no numbers. One of them has a secret mark. Hand the marked envelope to the spectator and have him put the bill inside. Continue with the other envelopes and pieces of paper. The spectator mixes the envelopes. You take them back and mix them some more, moving the marked envelope to the fourth position from the top. Now label the envelopes, 1-2-3-4-5-6.

John Archer's "Blank Night" routine has a similar premise. That might be of some help.
