Secret device used in the magical vanish and reproduction of a quantity of salt in the magician's hands. A favorite trick of Dutch magician Fred Kaps, Dai Vernon, Paul Fox, et al. [Magicland/Lyle Douglas] A four catalog lot of vintage Lyle Douglas catalogs, including: 33 CARD MYSTERIES/CATALOGUE NO. 8. Station A, Dallas, Texas. 1924. 64pp. in pictorial wraps. Fist seven pages are the 33 MYSTERIES (simple card tricks) followed by 57 pages of catalog; CATALOG OF PROFESSIONAL MAGIC. (1939, 80pp.) This cover shows Rabbit in tux pulling a magician out of a hat; 500 TRICKS (1941, 94pp.) and 500 TRICKS (1942, 128pp.) These are after the move to the Ervay Street address in Dallas.
