The only time I have ever used them for magic is to transform normal dice into them.
Because they are not cubes like regular dice, there's no way I can use them for rolling numbers without arousing tremendous suspicion on the part of the spectators - even though they are actually 100% fair.

I was thinking of a bit of business involving a pair of glasses that seem to change the appearance of the dice - that sort of thing.

As Professor Diaconis points out in that video, they identified 30 classes/families of fair dice.
The skew dice are in the family of fair dice shown in the 3rd row, second from the right, in the graphic displayed at 7:23 in the video.
