Luke Jermay's column in Magicanna

I enjoyed reading the book test described in Luke's column "The New Mind" in the July Magicanna. I never felt book tests made sense and have kept away but this has a twist that makes sense to me. I'm considering it. The short book page mentioned doesn't work reliably as a stop for me-- especially for paperbacks. So I put a small paper clip at the bottom of the page. This can be covered by the fingers and easily stripped off.
