Revolutionary Card Technique by Marlo is one place to find detailed descriptions.

Darwin Ortiz also has very clear description of dealing thirds based on Marlo's technique in 'Darwin Ortiz At The Card Table'. Off the top of my head I think its the effect 'In One Deal'.

Also check the DVD The Unreal Work. If you deal seconds, then this provides the method for you, or at least I thought so.

I remember reading something by Martin Gardner in The Collected Almanac whereby, if the top card of a deck in left-hand dealing position has a small (quarter-inch) hole in it where you rest the pad of your left thumb, you can push off a perfect double and execute a second deal with the face-card of the double, drawing the top card back each time. He (or someone else) also added that, using this technique, you can deal thirds by pushing off the double card and executing a strike second.

The hole in the card for doing a Second Deal is Vernon's.
