Voronin what a wonderful comedy act!
Just watched a old episode of Paul Daniels Secrets and saw Voronin doing his comedy magic act. Last time i saw this was when it was aired which was maybe 1996/7?. What a wonderful act! amazing off beat timing!. Does anyone know anything about him?

Yes, he had a small part in the original "Magicians" .........Not the remakes, the movie with Alan Arkin

Does the "Used to" part mean it is no longer PC or that he is no longer with us.... it could be either in this day and ageRichard Kaufman wrote:He also likes to do the bra trick ... er, he used to like to do the bra trick.

Chris, Yes I enjoyed the movie very much. I have it on an old VHS tape and it was tough to find then. There is a great scene in the movie
where one of the main characters destroys a heckler. Last I checked there was 2 or 3 recent movies named "Magicians" Remember it's the one with Alan Arkin in it.

Re: Voronin what a wonderful comedy act!
The issue with the bra trick is not that it shows a bra, but that it is embarrassing to the female volunteer. Ditto for the version with panties.
There are times when I know the trick will go over well. I had a friend who was one act in a drag show. You knew it was going to be a crazy crowd. So I suggested that he do the bra trick on one of the drag queens and it was a huge hit. Know your crowd.
There is also a version with men's boxer shorts that, if done on yourself, could be very funny in the right setting.

Agreed, maybe its the type of trick that should be done in Blackpool after the convention

Good advise.
I have used the boxer shorts version as a trick gone wrong with school principals, presidents of organizations, the father of the birthday child, the boss, and other alpha males for the audience in attendance. But I have never done it on anyone without getting his permission before the show starts.) (And after letting him know exactly what would happen and showing him the shorts.) It has never failed to get a good reaction from the volunteer and audience.
Not the one who created the Potter Index.
