An unsolicited plug:
H & R Magic Books (owned by Marshall Peterson--a very good guy!) just announced they are carrying this DVD (which was previously only sold by European dealers):

We've spoken on GF about this DVD many times, so this will be very exciting news to many!

I spoke to Alexandra Duvivier about the fact that the Jennings DVDs were available in the US, but the Dingle DVD was not, and now Murphy's is selling the DVD. So ask your favorite dealer for it!

Not that it matters, at all, but the Jennings DVDs were labeled "Derek Dingle" when p;produced. I wonder is the Dingle DVD says "Larry Jennings".

Yeah, that was weird. I always took it to mean that perhaps there was a Dingle DVD in the works.

I just tried to order the Dingle DVD from H&R but I see it's already sold out. Can anyone let me know, what year was this filmed? Was Dingle at his peak during this recording? Also does anyone know the routines performed/explained? Many thanks.

Penguin and Vanishing, Inc. also have it on their webpages, but both list it as sold out/out of stock.
Haines seems to have some.
More information here:

He is performing in English to native French speakers, so his speech is somewhat slow and deliberate, but the performances are excellent.
- 11 Card Counting Trick
- Card in Balloon
- Coins to Glass
- Sympathetic cards
- Copper Quick
- Australian Poker
- Cards Across
- Collectors
Also some demonstrations of the pass. Recorded in 1995.
Two Larry Jennings videos were done at the same time:

They are also quite good.

All dealers are supplied on this title by Murphy's. Email the dealers who say it is sold out and tell them to reorder from Murphys!

Re: "Derek Dingle in Paris France" DVD now available in US!
This is my favorite Dingle DVD out of the all the ones I own (Stars of Magic, Deceptions, Delights).
He is skillful, relaxed, and funny. He really was that good, both with coins and cards. He caught me out several times. That said, it's classic magic--no weird pipe dreams. Kind of nice in this day and age of: "Here's my cell phone--watch me drink this beer on the screen..." Plus, I don't think anyone does that walking fingers count better than he did.
The translation was not a distraction for me, and I actually prefer messieurs Duvivier and Sanvert to David, Jon, Janel, Cassandra, etc. There is a studio audience as well--some of whom speak English as they laugh at the jokes before the translation.
I didn't know Dingle well enough to know if this is him at the height of his powers, but he's pretty darn good. Watching this was very enjoyable and confirmed the legend I always had in my mind.

It's the best DVD he made.
I have alerted Mayette that Murphy's appears to be out of stock and they are looking into it.

Thank you Bill for the detailed info! Richard, thanks for alerting Mayette. I'll wait patiently for Vanishing Inc. to restock.

Nothing wrong with buying from Josh and Andi, but Haines is a reputable dealer, and I've bought things from them with satisfaction.
It depends on how fast you want it, I guess.

Bill,
My bad! Totally overlooked your comment about Haines having them in stock. I'll definitely check out their site and place my order. Thanks again!
