A question for the hive mind.
Who came up with the method for Open Prediction that uses a deck roughed on the faces and a double-face card? I'm drawing a blank on this.
Thanks for you help.

Re: Open Prediction Question
I am only aware of The Ultimate Open Prediction created by Frank Velasco and put out by Mark Strivings.

Re: Open Prediction Question
In Expert Card Conjuring (1968), Marlo has a version page 118 entitled Ultra Open Prediction in which you have a double face card and a disk of Stick -Tack but not all the deck roughed. It's a good variante.

Open Prediction (12th) in Stick s & Stones no 7, 1977. Another version by Ed Marlo with a full deck roughed and a double faced card.

Re: Open Prediction Question
Sounds interesting. But where do you put the D/F so that it doesn't get exposed in the deal but still ends up near where it's supposed to be?

Re: Open Prediction Question
Although it does not use rough and smooth, a related and very strong effect is "Los Angeles Open", by Gordon Bean. It appeared in his marketed "Joker Joker".
