Psience

Postby Psience » March 10th, 2015, 2:38 pm

Our faculty has completed the first issue of The Journal of Psience and it is amazing. It features a pair of customizable utility devices which are invisible whether used casually or in any formal stage mind reading performance. Once you miss a lesson, there is no turning back time (until you receive advanced instruction on time travel as part of your advanced studies.

Join the class of 2015 and your first year’s tuition will entitle you bi-monthly electronic instructions in PDF format with customizable templates for amazing, impossible, mental and physical feats.

You will also receive three advanced study lessons for the serious student of the impossible which will include a new and exciting type of information never before shared with the community of wonder workers.

The next semester begins in April 2015. Tuition is $120 USD per year (one time nonrefundable annual membership charge.)

Please PayPal $120 USD to psience.mail@gmail.com.

Upon receipt of proof of your paid enrollment, your advanced study of the impossible will begin.

Classes start in April so send in your tuition today!

(edit: we know Dustin is always cautioning us to keep "advertising" in the right place, but we are posing this in response to what seemed like a direct invitation from Richard.)

Richard Kaufman wrote:Travis, I think the offer for the new venture was only mailed to existing Real Secrets subscribers.

I know that they are reading this thread, so perhaps they'll post the offer for the new venture here.

Just a point of clarification. Are we to expect something in our inbox soon after we provide payment, or only as of April?

Signed,

Eager student

You are right Richard, but with 2 releases a month, one would expect an email on the 1st and another around the 15th.

Scratch that... Ah man... I miss read bi-monthly... Here I was excited to get 24 items and now I realize I will only get 6?!

Actually, I am even more confused...

Merriam-Webster online provides this definition:
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bimonthly

1: occurring every two months
2: occurring twice a month

The terms "bi-monthly, bi-annually," etc. have been confusing people for years, so don't feel bad!

It's much better to write "twice a month" or "every other month" for clarity.

I read the ad as five things every two months: two devices with instructions and an additional three items.

April 15th and still nothing... This is almost as fun as waiting for the mailman to deliver RS.

I was told, today, by one of the faculty, that we will definitely receive our first lesson before the end of the month.

I watched your online Genii column. I now know to expect it every 2 months. Not what I expected when I signed up but I'm confident it will deliver some amazing stuff.

I haven't seen anything. Have you sent them an email and asked what's up? What is the publication schedule? How many a year?

No. Not yet.
When I sent an email inquiry late last month I was informed issue 4 and a bonus would be released soon. I'm not going to worry until end of January :)

Was it every other month or quarterly? If quarterly, then it's finished I believe.

Bi-monthly, so there should be 6 issues plus the 3 advanced study lessons...

So far, I only received the first 4 issues and no advanced study lessons, which as advertised to RS subscribers, are probably the most interesting releases.

Great Bobus item!

I had the pleasure to see Michael Weber lecture on this item.

Well worth the wait. I'm glad to have detailed notes to work with.

After 3 years, Psience has finally come out with its last issue, a bonus for subscribers that is quite good.
It has also been announced that volume 2 is coming.

Edward - Destiny's Disciple is by Al Mann. (Page 1607 Magick). I'm not seeing the Lucky Numbers connection, did you perhaps mean a routine by Dunninger of another name?

Lol...there appears to be identical titles with different creators. I also appear to have the Collectors' Workshop Edition and you the other one. Quite (un)lucky.

There is another "Destiny 's Disciple" with Dunninger's name one it in MAGICK and another one with Al Mann's name.

Dunninger's is located in the first five years of my vol. 1. Mann's is later down the line in Collectors vol.3.

Basically it's using the waitress as a stooge and giving her a lacquered golf pencil to write a 3-digit number on the back of the lotto ticket. She goes off to the corner with the ticket and the gaff pencil with the instructions to write down a three digit number. You already have the number written on the back and the pencil doesn't write so she just ends up comming back to the table as an instant stooge. Meanwhile your party at the table has just seen you take out a safety pin...

Not asking you to reveal methods, but is the Headline Prediction practical?

It's very practical, suited more for a Corporate Show rather than a Publicity Stunt. I feel it is very similar to another method published in a book you may already own, but in Weber fashion he has simplified the method and taken an already practical method and turned it into a real worker.

I don't have any familiarity with these types of effects so I can make no comparisons to anything else. My opinion of this is that the explanation is thorough and easy to understand. While there is a myriad of details of which you need to be cognizant, this seems readily "do-able". I really like this and am so happy that I signed on again for the next round.
