Good issue. But is anyone else not able to hear the audio on the video clips in the iPad app?

Sorry you're continuing to have a problem, but this bug with the audio is a known issue for the iPad.

Read these:
https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=c ... udio%20bug

Nothing to do at our end. We've updated the app several times, and a new update which will solve the retention of downloaded issues for off-line reading is coming in a few weeks.

I suggest you take your iPad 2 to the Apple store if the problem can't be solved by reading the available material at the link I provided.

You can also, of course, use iGenii on any desktop or laptop so you can access the videos and audios.

Steve, you have Apple to thank for that. They consider their products to be disposable when later versions come out.

Thank you, Richard.

I thought that iOS bug was fixed. In any case, I switched the rotation lock switch in settings to mute and then back again, and now it works.

I was reading Giobbi's "on the theory of magic" essay this month and I might be wrong but I think it should have read essay 7 not 6. I think 6 was back a few months.

The most surprising thing about this issue to me is the bad penny who turns up in the first half of Mr. Giobbi's list of great, little known cardmen. ;)

Yes, it might be a typo since part 6 was in the March issue column (the theory of gestalt in magic). This, however, does not detract from Roberto's excellent suggestions in the current column.

Where's Richard?

I do enjoy More Genii Speaks in the digital issue however there is no Chief Genii to be found on either the app or the web version of the July issue.

'This video has been removed by the user' is the message displayed although the other audio / visual content on that page is working fine.

Where can he be I wonder??

Genii Speaks Video is back up, and also added a video of Jeff Prace performing the effect in his first column, "Strawesome."
