Jarrow dime and penny trick

Postby Mark Phillips » July 28th, 2014, 9:00 pm

Looking for a little background information on this trick as well as some references in print or on video. Trick is the exchange of a penny for a dime. Spectator extends palm up hand with dime on it. Jarrow would tell spectator to close his hand as soon as Jarrow's fingers hit it to try to take the coin. Jarrow could imperceptibly switch the spectator's dime with a penny. Did Jarrow invent it? Was it published in any standard or classic magic books? Anyone doing it now in original or a new version?

Thanks for your help.

The Coin Exchange is described in David Charvet's book
