Japan Ingenious Shipping on Monday August 12
Howdy folks. Happy to announce that Japan Ingenious has shipped from the printer to the fulfillment warehouse, and your orders will start shipping on Monday. Let me know what you think when you get it.
Hurry if you want to take advantage of the pre-publication offer. Even though the printer finished the job early, we'll still honor your orders for the book at $40 (discounted from $60) until the deadline of August 21:

Hi Richard, a young friend of mine is going to Magic Live and I asked him to pick up a copy of this book for me. I hope he doesn't forget. I know it's too much to ask but in case he forgets to ask you to sign it for me, would you do it? His name is Pablo and the autograph would be to Luis.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Richard,
I just placed an order through Paypal, would it be possible for you to sign my copy since I won't be able to make it out to Magic Live? I also put in the request on the Paypal comments section but just in case you didn't see it.
Thanks!
Edit: Got your reply in an email from my purchase, so you can ignore this message. Thanks.

Got home from work and the book was waiting for me. Last night was a cigar and Japan Ingenious. What a great book (cigar wasn't bad either). Richard, Steve thank you.

This is a really, really interesting book. I have been slowly sipping from it, reading just one or two tricks a day, trying to make it last. I love the diversity of effects. Coins, cards, matches, ribbons, chopsticks, rope, rubber bands, straws, rings, business cards, card boxes, silks, etc., etc.. You could construct an entire close up act with this book. The illustrations are clean and concise and the written instructions are easy to follow. Well done Richard. You are still at the top of your game when it comes to publishing quality books (future classics) at affordable prices.

This is easily my favorite out of the various Japanese magic books that Richard has published. My only caveat is that it doesn't come with a proper, full dustcover, which makes the book more difficult to protect with brodart wrapping.

Thanks, Chris.
You'd be very frustrated if you lived in Japan because partial dustjackets are commonplace.
But enjoy the contents!

I wonder why that is? Perhaps they see the dust jacket as more ornamental than practical.

Received mine yesterday. This is going to be one of my all-time favourite books. Even if I never actually do most of the material, the incredible thinking behind it is wonderful to contemplate.
