Printing from iGenii files

Postby Andrew Pinard » March 12th, 2013, 8:26 pm

Richard:

I occasionally like to print out pages of Genii for reading offline and for adding pieces to my notebooks. This works very well with the PDF files available through Ask Alexander. There does not appear to be any way to print pages from the archive issues of iGenii. I know that omagdigital.com offers print capabilities for other magazines they host. Is there something I am missing?

Thanks,

Andrew

Sorry, but you cannot print from the digital versions of the current issues.

It's much nicer to have an export/print function built in than have to grab the screen images from outside the viewing program. Adding a context header and copyright notice to items extracted from the archive directly ...

Why worry about printing the Genii files when it seems (perhaps in part due to the recent "splitting Project") that "Ask Alexander" now offers a very up to date solution? I was pleasantly surprised to see that "Ask Alexander" is now up to date as of April 2013.
