Did the buyer get a bargain?

I took a look at this when it was first listed. From the pictures it looked as if it had been repaired.

I would really love to have one of these!

Mine has come unstuck at the taped hinge. This seems to be a common problem.

An article on how to repair it would be great!

I have this classified as a low outlier. It's a fluke.

I tried to repair a broken Side Track. I printed out a new black slider, used super glue on the tape hinge. It was going oh so well.... until the black slider would not move. A tiny bit of super glue leaked on to the slider and stuck it firmly in place. Beyond repair now  At least I have a spare Side Track and now a spare jumbo four of hearts too!

It's such a fragile prop, and there are at least two easy ways to break it. Not surprised they're rare.

I still love it, but it kills me that my wife figured it out the very first time I showed it to her.
