Face out packet switch

Postby Jonathan Townsend » December 11th, 2012, 12:31 pm

Looking for citations for a face - out packet switch - imagine the ATFUS done using where displays are faceOut to the audience, at chest level.

IE the pack stays in dealer's grip with the cards thumbed to the side before pickup. The other hand comes over and takes them, thumb at the back and fingers to the front and displays the face of the cards by raising that arm up at the elbow.

I got as far as a break under a block to start for the count of one and dropping all but the last unseen (part of the block) one to effect the "all but one" of an ATFUS type swich.

Rather than reinvent an old wheel - asking for citations.

Thanks in advance,

JonT

*simple application: ace routine

have the four aces on top of the pack. catch a break under the second ace. Pass 3 x cards ontop.

Count of one, take all five. Count of two, thumb off then take the next ace to the face of the packet. Same for three.

Count of four, thumb off the next face down card, dropp all but the top four cards in your other hand and show this newly display ace (the only ace you have there now) at the face of the packet and contiue along now that you're three ahead.
