WANTED- Fechter: The Magic of Eddie Fechter

Postby DAH » January 15th, 2012, 4:37 pm

I know, needle meet haystack, but I've heard so many great things not only about this book but about Mr. Fechter and the Forks Hotel that I've got to read it for myself:)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. New here as I usually spend my online magic time over at the "other" place.

Thanks for your time,

Sincerely,
Dave

Welcome. Have you tried calling John Greget in Phoeniz, AZ, or George Daily in Harrisburg, PA? One of them is likely to have a copy for sale.

I'm pretty sure that this FANTASTIC book is back in print and available from Mr. Mentzer (scroll down a bit):

I would suggest calling US Toy Magic in Kansas to see if they might have some left.

In my estimation, a used copy in very good condition is worth $40.

I think Dustin is right: (from 4 days ago):

Also, Kenna Thompson just auctioned off one as well for a little over $50 last week.

I think the Ebay book and the one from Kenny T's site for $65.00+ are two different puppies.

Hey Leonard, I did read your message earlier this morning. I left a message yesterday for Mr. Greget at the same number (I found it online) and haven't heard back yet so its still a possibility.

Yes, you're quite correct: two different editions. My bad and my apologies.

Looks like I have a deal for a brand new one one from a generous fellow from the Magic cafe! Victory is imminent! LOL

Thanks to one and all who have sent me PMs and posted here and offering online and offline suggestions as to where this could be located.

Much appreciated! This is obviously a great forum with great (and resourceful) people and I'll shall endeavor to start contributing here on a more regular basis.

Special thanks to Dustin Stinett as your review of this book that I found cinched it as far as me wanting to take the time to source it out.

Sincerely,

Dave

I have tried all the above links, it looks like it is out of print. Anyone want to sell a copy or make a trade?
