David Copperfield is a dad...since last year!

There's some news reports out right now that David Copperfield became a dad for the first time last year with his girlfriend, model Chloe Gosselin. Their baby girl (or really, toddler at this point!) is currently 16 months old and is named Sky.

This is old news - about 3 years old. When I was writing the blog for Ellusionist I found a story that David was the father of 2 children.

So now he may have 3 kids. Apparently he's moved on from the model in the Ellusionist story and found another one.

Nothing was either confirmed or denied, but even though the original source was the National Enquirer, they're actually very good at breaking stories (John Edwards affair and the baby that came from that).

For a famous person, David is private about his personal life and would rather let his magic get the spotlight. The only time I've seen a relationship get a lot of attention was when he was with Claudia Schiffer.

The National Enquirer article made sense when I first read it because it's such an obscure "scandal" to make up. Why David? He has a very low profile and hasn't had a TV special in years so why pick him out of anyone else?

Being the father of a daughter myself, this will bring something to his life that a workaholic touring schedule and a magic collection just don't bring to the table............but then he probably already figured that out.

either way I'm happy for David.
I know I've always been a harsh criticizer of him.

For one it shows he can be a compassionate
person and thinks of others and not just himself.
