Vortex by Tom Stone

Postby Tom Stone » April 30th, 2010, 11:03 am

I've done a hard cover book!

I've read it myself several times, and it is actually quite good. ;)

It is now available at a special prepublication price (until June 10) at:
http://www.hermeticpress.com/

Hopefully, people will enjoy it!

I took advantage of the pre-publication offer and placed my order earlier today. I think Tom's material and his thinking are extremely clever. Can't wait for the book to arrive!

The books have left the printer, and will soon arrive at Hermetic Press, and the shipping will commence on June 10.

And that's also the date the prepublication offer will cease. 6 days left, if you want to save a few bucks. :)

Woohoo!!! My mail man made my day! Vortex is in the house!!! I've only skimmed through it but so far looks like a very well produced book. Illustrations are very nice and plentiful and I like the fact that the book lays flat for easy reading/studying. I'll be going over the material over the weekend.

I received my copy of Vortex today. My reaction is one of extreme jealousy that I am not the publisher--that's very rare. Everyone who loves magic should buy this book.

I got mine on Friday and everyone in the magic shop was beging me to unwrap it so they could sneek a peek. I spent the whole weekend glued to the book and I am allready on my second reading. At first I thought the size and shape was awkward but now that I have spent time with it I believe it to be perfect. It lays flat on the table and the pages stay open so I can read along while trying out the moves. Allot of thought went into all aspects of this book. Congratulations Tom.

Thanks!

I received my copy today. Great book! Like Kelly above, I found the form of the book to be unusual but very accommodating for ease of reading. I've only read for an hour but I can say that this is all I expected and more.

Wonderful book - Thank you Tom!

Thank you Genii for the review of "Vortex", and the Forum for getting me to the Magic Shop to acquire this wonderful book, which I'm enthusiastically reading today.

0:08 - the second final load of Benson Burner.
0:56 - the first vanish in the routine (slightly messed up here)
