I imagine the bids are being placed as a joke. Especially when you look at what the other items he is selling are going for.

The huge bid (2,000 pounds) has been retracted and the user has been removed from eBay.

Another high bid was also retracted with the bogus explanation "entered wrong amount"--TWO DAYS AFTER THE ORIGINAL BID. This guy should get kicked off.

The price is now down to $1,774

That's 1100 in funny money.
I'm informed that the cash is going to a charity, although Paul doesn't name which one.
If I was the winning bidder, I'd be asking myself, "To Pay, or not to pay, that is the Question"

There is more to this than the auction indicates. The London media picked up on the fact that Paul is auctioning off some of his old props, and started spreading the word that Paul is ticked off at the Magic Circle (WRONG!!!) and that he is somehow seeking revenge on the Magic Circle (WRONG!!!) for not electing him president.

This went around the Magic Circle club newsletter during the past week.

The wig was put up as a joke, but the charitable donation definitely isn't one.

Good on you, Paul!!!
