The film has been shot by Firefly Productions over the last two World Magic Seminars and features six teen magicians as they prepare for and complete in the teen stage competition. The teens are Krystyn Lambert, Derek McKee, Hiroki Hara,
Siphivew Fangase & Nkumbuzo Nkonyana and Bill Koch and the film is very well done. It will also be part of the Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville, VA later this year.

Reviews are filtering in ... and all seem very positive:

"Make Believe

Make Believe is a documentary which follows the route made famous by Spellbound in which we follow a group of teens from different backgrounds and families as they all train for some kind of competition which serves as the films climax. In Make Believe we follow a group of teenage magicians as they all begin to train so that they can compete for the title of Teen World Champion at the World Magic Seminar which is held in Las Vegas every year.

Director J. Clay Tweels documentary is so breezy, fun, and optimistic that it is really hard to say anything bad about it. It could have been really easy to make the subjects of the documentary come off as people we would laugh at, but Tweel seems to really love and respect these group of teenagers and the art of magic and its because of this that we begin to root for all of them when the time comes for them to compete with one another. The Spellbound documentary formula may be getting old and tiresome, but it works in Make Believe."

Variety raves ...

"Guaranteed to have viewers levitating, "Make Believe" is a charming, affectionate and often elegantly executed study of teenage magicians, their craft and the social shadows they step out of when they do their stuff. As one plainly puts it, they're "different," adolescent human curiosities in a theatrical carnival where the greatest illusion can be their transformations from uber-nerds to polished performers. As a result, it's a kind of personal heroism that helmer J. Clay Tweel captures in this Los Angeles Film Festival jury prizewinner, which will materialize in at least some theatrical venues, en route to a substantial cable play."

Love the film...very entertaining!

Great personalities to root for.

Winning "Best Doc" - will give it distribution now.

No doubt, it'll be shown at the Magic Castle in the future.
