And you're selling that for only 120 USD? Brilliant.

Where do we send the money?

No, your handling is not very impressive, particularly when you claim to sell it for $120.

No, two different guys. The last one was French, this is an Italian. Must be something about europeans not understanding that the Berglas Effect is not simply a one method ACCAN and also not knowing where caps lock is. Weird.

Thanks to the handy search function we learn that Stefano Nobile is the gentleman in question and that he is likely italian (Many of the comments he writes on the YouTube video -- the first one is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2J-PT2RfEsc -- are in Italian. His first post is here: http://www.geniimagazine.com/forums/ubb ... 78/fpart/1 .

Perhaps better to ask Mr. Berglas if he's authorized anyone (or that person in particular) to go selling a version of his trick?

Any Card at Any Number is ancient. The Berglas Effect simply adds restrictions to it. David does not have any rights to the effect other than the version he uses.

He certainly would have some proprietary interest in the name "The Berglas Effect" -- unless you have his blessing, it should be called something else.

Richard is correct ACAAN is ancient. However.......

After exhaustive research and expenditure of monies I have obtained the exclusive rights to "Card At Position 13".

This is now MINE!!!!

Please contact me for franchise purchase information.

Mr Goat will be allowed right of first refusal on all British proposals. (he will also be building the website)

(Italian requests must be submitted in French)

Mike Close tells us that one should not release a variant trick unless it is an improvement in effect, method or presentation. I have done all three with "Card at Position 15"!!!

Effect -- Position 15 is two cards more astounding than Position 13

Method -- My method is better. So there.

Presentation -- Think of all the presentational opportunities available with "15" that simply don't exist with "13".

As soon as I can get an edgy video of this MIRACLE onto youtube, I expect to sell out of limited edition ebooks. Order now.

Bill,

Would you consider a partnership on position 14?

Though I don't yet have the method worked out, I would be able to bring to the deal a NEW deck of cards.

IMHO the rationalizations for making claims on variations are missing the word "significant". And that very notion tends to inform my opinion of those who offer such items.

I shall claim card at 52, "The Bottom Line", "It's Yours, Face It". So many things one can say about 52 and its factors. ;) May well be the epitome of evolution on that - as there's not much further one can descend with modification.

* Hold the presses... adding "Face Up Rise and Shine" and "Slacker Card" to that list of "card at 52" variations. Since the first is a face up application - it's a significant variation and worthy of it's own ebook. ;)

Guess I'm being a bit of a grouch about magic ad copy today. :( I'll blame my allergies. Sorry.

I've been waiting to explore the ACAAN effect till the guy who's made it his own choses to share his work.

Jon, do you mean that you are waiting for Berglas to publish his work? He has.

While I'm very interested to read the Kaufman write-up, let's not pretend that the piece is unpublished -- there is a long write-up in the Britland book.
