ML - yes, amazing lighting going from copper/orange to cool green in the center.
Agreed - half the people are women and The Master superimposed his identity of all of humanity.

Re: Doctor Who Wildcard
Anyone know if the mesh artwork is available larger for the WOW prop?
Among other things I feel it would be a fun insert for a test tube where you use the cork to rotate the gaffus a little.

could you not buy one of those rip off wows, and cut it up to make the gaff?

Re: Doctor Who Wildcard
something about buying a ripoff item just does not appeal. Also, I want the artwork so can do something ELSE and will need to do lots of experimenting.
What do we call a ripoff wow? A what? A whoa? A whew?

That looks like a fun home to visit.
Any thoughts on using a bunch of WOW's for a mass "shake it" wildcard?

Any thoughts on "Eleventh Hour"?
I actually enjoyed it greatly.
And Matt Smith is going to be a great doctor.

So, how about a mission to save the whales?
I'm not smiling. But then again I remembered to post a warning a few weeks ago.
Don't blink till mid-May.
Getting back on topic - what do you think of having several cards pulled and one comes along and makes the rest conform? Second term in that is the "Master Card" does not come in direct contact with those superimposed.

Re: Doctor Who Wildcard
I really liked the premier, the new Doctor and he new companion. It looks like it's going to be a good season, especially with the weeping angels and River Song coming back.

i read that matt smith has some of the charm that
made tom baker so popular.
in the same article it said that david tennant
was a sorta 'old' doctor and that something was
missing but extremely popular. i can totally
see that. i do like david tennant as the doctor.
just as i did with christopher eccelston.

Since folks mentioned the Weeping Angels, the Lonely Assassins in Blink (and the fourth story this season)... it brings to mind the intent behind the first two transits or a certain coins across... ;) , ;) , nudge nudge. :D

Matt Smith said that he based his doctor on Patrick Troughton's doctor, with a bit of Einstien mixed in.

Re: Doctor Who Wildcard
Patrick Troughton's Doctor - guess that explains why his companion is so willful and in a skirt. ;)
I hope more folks on this BBS choose to tune into BBCA or netflix the older DVDs to enjoy the show.

Re: Doctor Who Wildcard
Have you looked at Red Dwarf or Being Human?

Re: Doctor Who Wildcard
One of my friends recommended Red Dwarf
years ago, and I've yet to watch it.
I'll check it out at Netflix.
I saw the preview Being Human before
it aired last summer and I do want
to watch it. I notice that the new
season is starting soon.

Re: Doctor Who Wildcard
season 3 ( well series 3 really we dont have seasons here in the uk.) Of Being Human is shooting at the moment.
Lord cripes a mercy, it looks incredible!
And red dwarf.. a classic. John Lenahan did a voice on one episode,( It was a talking toaster) and when the character came back, someone else did a john Lenahan impression .

Doctor Who on a magic forum... this is great. :)
The new series, and Doctor, are excellent.
Has anyone heard if Torchwood will return? It's been a while since I've heard anything.

in the US instead of BBA.
I don't subscribe to Starz channel because it comes
with Netflix subscription.
