Passport Update

Postby David Regal » February 27th, 2010, 12:03 pm

I have sold half my run of Passport wallets already, so I currently have an outside manufacturer seeing if he can duplicate them (the current run was assembled by myself over a period of months, with some die-cut work by Steve Shufton). However, even if this manufacturer is successful I anticipate a one-year delay when my stock is depleted, and a rise in price.

The second half of my current run will sell, so I'm posting this just to keep people from being annoyed with me when I run out.

Thanks for the update, David...I probably would have procrastinated until they were all gone :(

If you are looking for a relatively easy to do card to impossible location, this would be very hard to beat.

I got mine in the mail last week (the day after I placed my order). I am already dreaming up other ways to use the gimmicks. This thing is really clever. I tried it out on a few people over the weekend and totally fried them. Nice job as always David.

BTW it was a thrill seeing you perform Cups and balls & cups and balls at the Castle. It's my favorite of all your routines. I hope you will be there again soon.

Hi All -

A couple of purchasers have contacted me for Passport tips, so I figured, in addition to sending the tips to them I might as well post them here:

I made the plug magnet the thickness that feels right for me, the thickness of three playing cards, but some have told me theyd rather have a thicker plug that sits deeper in the deck.

Happily, this is something you can alter and it will take you all of a minute.

Cut a square hole in the center of a playing card. The hole should be a little bigger than the holes in the die-cut cards supplied. It doesnt have to match, as you will place it under the three supplied cards. It is never seen! It simply makes the space for the plug slightly deeper.

Now, adhere a square of cardboard to the bottom of the plug magnet. You can use anything, cut it from a cereal box or a piece of junk mail. It, too, is never seen.

Now your plug is thicker, and it will sit deeper in the deck affording extra staying power.

I hope this is helpful!

Sounds like a sexual aid.

David Regal does not need any sexual aids.

Don't ask me how I know.

Oh my God.

Pete, I was at The Castle last night - didn't see you. I have something for you.

The above comment is unrelated to Pete having or not having knowledge of my genitalia.

Untrue, at least in the UK.

Genitalia = plural. Girl bits or boy bits. Just more than one bit.

I don't care which is correct.
Does that make me a hermaphrodite?

Just because David Regal has more than one genital doesn't mean he's a bad person.

However it does mean that he probably should have said "I have some things for you."

Is there a name for the combination of playing cards, magnets, cardboard and se*ual gratification? Is this the national brand of pleasure in Genitalia, whose citizens are called Genitals? Not going to ask what the image(s) on the national seal are - just in case.

wait a minute - has Irma at the castle been sneaking into other places, peeking and telling tales?

Magnacardaphilia? Or is that a fetish for medieval legal charters?
