Thank you for bringing back the board. I'm not satisfied with the answers about the eggs Craig.

This is good news - Thanks so much - I know (on a much smaller scale) how hard it is to let someone else help - Mr Racherbaumer will do a job all of us will be proud to be asscociated with.

On a personal note: this board helps me to exercise a thought process I thought had gone dormant.

Proud to be a Genii Forum participant

Thank you, Jon! Thank you, Richard!

This bulletin board was for the past year and half quite different from the other boards, simply in the quality of participation (and participants). A couple days of Genii-Board-withdrawal proved that. I explored a couple of other forums, but they were nothing like what we've had here since July 2001.

The Genii Forum is the best thing going on the Web in terms of Magic. Richard, thanks for listening to the participants and bringing it back to life. Jon, thanks for keeping it alive!!!

My Slang Thesaurus has under "consistent", "according to Hoyle"! Well, that has nothing to do with anything here, but... I too checked out another forum, but would like to keep my loyalty with this forum. I do dig the author's pics though. Welcome back!

Geez, was that a hoax? Wow, don't do that again. It's like feeding us free drugs and then stopping the supply. We get the point, so what's the Genii subscription now? $125 per year? :) We'll pay, just give us the fix man!

Geniiadictsanonymous.com can't be far away.

Welcome back and thanks for coming back.

Thanks for bringing it back.

I think that the Genii forum is the most interesting of all the magic boards and the more easy to surf.

Congratulations for your good works!

Best.

Thank you Richard for starting the whole thing, and thank you Jon for keeping it alive. I'm one of those magicians who generally keeps to themselves. I don't go to conventions or ring-meetings or whatnot. So the Genii Forum keeps me informed, entertained and (somewhat) in the loop.

Thank you again!

I am glad Larry has been found.
He shares the same name as a very famous Canadian comedian.
He is not he, I suppose? If he is he perhaps he could let us that he is he. If he is he, that is.
Perhaps not. I don't think the Canadian Larry is a magician.
Comedians make you go He! He! He!
Magicians make you go eeeh! eeeh! eeeh!
I will not comment on whether this last sentence represents delight or agony.

Thanks to all for your ebullient hue-and-cry, support, and good wishes. I not only want this Forum to continue and flourish, I want it to get better...

Short of singing "We Are the World," I DO believe that everyone who signs on, reads, posts, and responds ARE THE GENII FORUM...

Yes, indeed...
ONWARD is the appropriate battle cry...

This is the best magic forum on the Internet because of its participants and Richard Kaufman. I hope you'll continue to contribute occasionally, Richard. And, thank you Jon, for keeping this great board alive.

I'm so glad the forum has been restored. Now I don't have to try to figure out what to do with an extra two hours every day.

Thanks guys. There really is nothing even close to this forum. It brings me a lot of enjoyment, not only because of the information, advice and insights, but also for the camaraderie. I have "met" people online, and later in person through the forum. And since Richard is no longer moderating, I can finally tell the story of the time I was going up the escalator at the Hilton at SAM 100 when someone came running up behing me yelling, "Get out of my way! Get out of my way!" It was Richard Kaufman, who proceeded to bound up the escalator and race across the lobby into the men's room. I know the feeling RK all too well. Thanks again.

Thanks again to everyone for the positive feedback.
Let me add that RK is not exiled to the rubber room where he painstakingly puts together Genii and no longer reads the Forum or has anything to do with its destiny. He has simply passed on the duties of vigilance to Dustin and I. Otherwise, RK's presence is as ubiquitous as the little, wiggly creatures that are everywhere in the swamps of the Big Easy.
He, like Max Maven, is the ever-present Reader Over My Shoulder.

Onward...

Boo!
Oh, Carl, I don't think I was on my way to the men's room, but to the awards ceremony where I was too late to give the Genii awards.
But it may have been the men's room ...

Thank you Mr. Racherbaumer for saving the day! I am addicted to the forum as everyone else. It is a continual source of information of all things magical for me as well being my connection to all the posters. I love your "Flibbertygiberty" columns every month and I hope that the Genii Forum duties don't end it. Oh yes, its nice to hear news from Mr. Biro again. :)
