Hi Kent -
One of the producers emailed me with the viewing information. I have been working with them since they first approached regarding doing the show late last year. I am familiar with a lot of the footage they shot, but I have no idea what made it to the final cut. Is this what you meant by other information?

Bill,
You rock. Yes it is. You didn't say, "Kent you're not on the show". See, now I can still pretend Curtis, Bill and myself all made the final show and not the cutting room floor. I'm pretty sure Bill Palmer's persona and information were interesting and enough off the beaten track they couldn't have cut him. Curtis is suave, polished and genteel. They certainly kept his segment. The old fat guy doing the cups . . . probably not.
Through the grapevine I've heard the mega-mighty Jeff McBride was taped as well. That will make the final show!

Re: World Magic Seminar on the Travel Channel
Kent - if they filmed you, I sincerely hope your footage made it to the final show. I have no idea of who or what was in the final edit. I do know that WMS is not the only "extreme convention" on the show so I really have very little idea of what to expect.
However - don't forget - it is THIS coming Wednesday night on the TRAVEL CHANNEL at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time. The 2009 WMS will be part of the Extreme Conventions show.

Re: World Magic Seminar on the Travel Channel
If anyone missed the show on Wednesday evening, it will be reaired on Friday and 11 am and 7 pm and again on Saturday morning at 9 am. All times are Eastern Standard Time.
The segment on the WMS featured Losander and the floating table, Jeff McBride, Bizarro, and shots of the teen contest, dealers and others. Those in attendance at the last WMS will see many familiar faces and maybe even themselves.

I'm so happy I was able to be part of such a great convention! I felt that the segment was really well produced, and I don't think it was very short at all. I figured there would be two-three minutes at most but there was a decent eight minute spot aired.
Congrats to Bill, and Becki wells - you certainly deserved this!

Kent,
The show included a 3 second clip of you raising a cup to reveal three balls perched atop another cup. Unfortunately, there was no mug shot. But congrats anyway. You give good hand.

And Kent's still got another 14:57 of fame left over.
Kudos to Bill and Becki. I saw P&T on Top Chef last night, too. Magicians seem to be gaining respectability on T.V. and this appearance is part of that trend. I think. Despite being compared with hot sauce fanciers and Pirate fetishists.

Here, here, Congratulations to the Wells! I thought the people who got air time more than deserved it. I had a great time at WMS. WMS is the big magic convention I've been to. I'm just glad magic got some time on the tube where nobody was revealing secrets.
Losander and his incredible table looked amazing. Bizarro (sp?) looked bizarre and very magical. One of my very favorite magicians Jeff McBride came off as charming and charismatic. Just like in real life. I enjoyed the TV show.
