Bob, forgive my ignorance, but I'm not getting the Rush references. I believe you are in Canada, so there's a connection there. Is there another? I happen to be a pretty big Rush fan. Love the Permanent Waves Album. I used to be in radio and it speaks to me. Can you enlighten me? Do you work with Rush in some capacity?

Thanks, and I join the list looking forward to your Genii Magicana.

I dig your stuff over at the Nation!

Can you say dream job!

Actually, that's very cool. I'm sure it isn't all fun and games, but based upon the interviews that I've seen with Geddy Lee, he appears to be a pretty grounded, no-nonsense guy. Probably a great person to know and be associated with.

Anyways, I'm glad that Bob still has time to offer goodies to his friends in magicdom.

I didn't get the Nation reference -- but there is another "Bob Farmer" who was a politico for John Kerry -- so that might be him.

As noted in Dustin's DVD review in the current Genii, Steve Dobson has little respect for credits. This must be the same guy who ripped off Sam Schwartz's "Back Flip" and put it out as "Alien Autopsy" -- and never mentioned Sam's name at all. I've added him to my "never-buy-a-thing-with-this-guy's-name-on-it list."

Yes, Steve Dobson and Jim Pace released that trick. I had forgotten about that when I wrote the review. Had I recalled it, I may have complimented him on his consistency of picking good material to pinch.

As an addendum to all of the above, if anyone is willing to learn and perform Bro. Hamman's "Interplay" credibly on youtube, you will be guaranteed a place among the notables on the ever-expanding Genii-forum "List of Magicana Tricks on Youtube." Your date with immortality awaits...

Bob Farmer's magic is so powerful, we had to assemble a team of experts to study the material in an undisclosed location far removed from any populated areas. Naturally this takes time.

Also the materials is being examined one paragraph at a time to avoid overwhelming the experts. One guy accidentally saw two consecutive paragraphs and spent three weeks in hospital.

Hello -- is anyone reading this? This is Bob Farmer and this may be my last transmission. They're almost through the door now. I can hear them breathing, that low lizard-like wheeze. It's our air here on earth -- not meant for their lungs raised on stardust and sulfur.

I need to say one last thing -- tell your friends, tell everyone -- soylent green is Paul Gord ---
