Dai Vernon in his younger days of course. He must have done alright with the ladies. Channing Pollock is up there to, best hair in the business, even now.

"Longing" is not a word that usually collides in the same sentence with Steve's or my name. I just think that it was a visual Richard wasn't quite prepared for.

Now we're talkin'!!!

Since she's retiring, we'll have to start looking at Jenny what's-her-name there in Vegas (sorry Jenny, can't think of your last name right now - my mind is too cluttered with other things...)

I didn't think magicians could be attractive. Like trekkies, I thought it was the we all had to be butt ugly.

Dustin, you're thinking of all-around fabulous babe Jenny Alexander, wife of Scott Alexander. They do shows at Caesar's Magical Empire and run the Vegas operation of the Denny & Lee Magic Studio. And she's right up there in the pantheon of good-looking magicians (if I may shamelessly contribute to the shallowness of this topic).

So where does Steve Myers's rear end come in on the scale in this contest (see that Denny & Lee ad from sometime last year on the back of GENII)?

I like what Penn said about David Blaine. "Most magicians are ugly sonuvabeeches. David Blaine comes along and he's good looking. Not good looking for the world, but good looking for a magician." That's why he's so popular. He's better looking than any of us. (Well at least in some people's eyes.)

Quite frankly, personality makes people attractive, and I have met too many magicians or both genders that don't do it for me at all.

By the way, hi everyone. I'm Bizzaro. Get used to seeing me on here. Toodles.

That's the one!

I'm never afraid to tread shallow waters - I just don't live in them.

Before this thread trails off into total silliness, I think it's more interesting and instructive to define the "Best Looking Magician" as the one who most LOOKS like how I might imagine a "real" magician would look.

With that criterion in mind, I would start the list with following magicians:

Teller (Impish)
Eugene Burger (Monkish)
Juan Tamariz (Crazy)
Dan Birch (Mephistophlean)
Dante (Satanic)
Lennart Green (The Mad Doctor)

Any other suggestions for the "Magician Who Looks the Most Like a REAL Magician" list?

My vote goes to the lovely Jinger Lee. Unfortunately, she is married. She can be seen performing with her husband, Mark Kalin, in ILLUSIONARIUM at the Reno Hilton.

Female...Jinger Leigh (Mark Kalin is my hero!)

Male...I'd have to say that Lance is a pretty good looking guy (at least that's what my wife says)

My question at this point is this: Melinda is retiring? Does anyone know why?

Perhaps it was the two guys stalking her and since they were dressed only in mesh...oh never mind.

Actually, Melinda and her husband Mark are trying to start a family.

Don't forget the entire cast of Showgirls of Magic.

One of the easiest to watch magic shows I've ever seen.

In looking over websites like the Mystri Girlz and the Showgirls of Magic (with their 10pm topless show), it seems that anyone really CAN do magic these days. Remember way back when? When it was special? ::sigh::

At least you could have posted the Showgirls URL. I had to do a Google search.

$30 for the late show huh? I wonder: Can you pay $1 at a time?
