Charlie Miller, and it can be found on the video he did for Stevens Magic, which has been put out on DVD by Twin Cities.

Re: Rice Bowls
I saw Charlie perform this in person. I believe he used an Al Baker set of Rice Bowls. Charlie's presentation was like everything he did, charming and idiosycratic to his personality. Copying him would be a waste of time.
Re: Rice Bowls
Don Lawton had a great routine in Lots of Lawton. Pattered around the idea of breakfast ceral.

Re: Rice Bowls
Thank everyone. I was just curious and also I really do not view many Magic videos. Preferring to use my own routine with my Rice Bowls and understanding we all dislike copy cats, today I am entertained on how others enjoy displaying their personal routines. Books are my passion now and I am considering purchasing a book called Theater Of The Mind. Hopefully it is good.
Thank you,

Re: Rice Bowls
Geoffrey Durham has a beautiful rice bowl routine in Professional Secrets using a Brahmin bowl (it also happens to be a great lesson in rhythm and magic), and there is a very nice routine with the Al Baker bowls in Roy Benson by Starlight.

Re: Rice Bowls
My recommendation echoes Nathan's. For a contemporary (read: modern) magician, Geoffrey Durham's routine is near perfect.

Re: Rice Bowls
I got a set of the Al Baker bowls after reading the routine in Bruce Eliot's classic secrets. But I ended up going back to Al Baker's handling from the original instructions, which worked much better for me.

Re: Rice Bowls
Geoff,
Are the Baker bowls currently being manufactured by someone, or did you purchase an older set?

Re: Rice Bowls
I was one of the select few who watched Charlie perform the Rice Bowls at Joe Stevens taping for the Greater Magic video series here in Wichita. It was a blast to meet and watch one of my hero's. Wonderful memories of having the pleasure the chat with him for a few minutes. Thanks Joe!
