The New Edition of Steve Forte's Gaming Protection Series is IN MY HANDS!

Postby Richard Kaufman » January 21st, 2009, 7:48 pm

Just got an advance copy of the new three-DVD set of Steve Forte's Gaming Protection Series of DVDS.

Wowzer!

Three DVDs in a beautifully designed digipak.

The first two DVDs hold the four volumes of the original Gambling Protection Series (this stuff will make you wet your pants).

The third DVD alone, with all the new stuff, is worth the $100 price of the set. An unaired one-hour TV show with Steve and cohorts demonstrating cheating in a casino setting; a newly-shot tour of Steve's museum of gambling apparatus; his entire performance on the Hidden Secrets of Magic TV show; and best of all, "52," which has Steve performing 52 additional techniques. I won't tip what the final move is, but if it doesn't make you jump out of your seat, you don't know card handling.

And Steve really is the best: artful, loose, relaxed, casual. There's no death grip on the deck or dice, no tells, none of the stuff you see from so many so-called gambling experts.

This is a great set, and a tremendous value for the money. Buy it: http://stevefortegps.com/

On sale until February 1 for $20 off the retail price. Only $106 postpaid in the US.

:D Derived from "on the job training"
It's not about the magic; it's about the daily box office gross.

"...DEMONSTRATING cheating in a casino setting," is the full quote, Mr. Stott.

Don't be so hard on yourself.

Jokes aside, I am looking forward to this new edition.

Very funny, Cugel, but I don't "do" gambling stuff.

Thanks for the kind words Richard.

It looks like shipping to Europe is taking about 1 week. We mailed the first sets off on Saturday and some of them already arrived on Thursday. That appears to be the low end (5 days). Other folks' copies that also went out Saturday will probably arrive today or tomorrow, it just depends on the distance and your postal service speeds.

All in all the results and reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.

Does 52 mean you will spend 52 hours trying to learn these moves and still not have a clue? Does for me!

I echo Mr. Kaufman's appraisal of this new series. Very Well done Mr. Forte, England, Carden, and so on.

I received a copy here in the metro-Atlanta area today. Haven't popped it in to view yet, but the packaging reeks of thoughtfulness and thoroughness. This was obviously done with attention to fine details. I am anxious to start watching!
