As an "absolute beginner" don't you think it might be wise to wait until you have more experience before you show off to the world?

Just asking.

Three words.
Practice, practice and practice.
Just don't be in a rush to show off to the world. That is how embarrassment begins.

Hi Gord,

That's 4 words! Sorry to correct you, Gord. BUT I am with you! Practice 'til perfect... don't stop, keep on practice!

Thanks Richard. I meant to use the "&" symbol which, I believe, would make three words.

Instead of searching for tricks to learn on line, I'd suggest finding a good book and learning from it. There are a lot of great magic books aimed at the "absolute beginner". Depending on your specific interests i.e. Closeup, platform, large illusions, etc., there are lots of books out there that will provide a better magic education than trick exposure sites.

It actually is important that you perform for others, magic needs an audience and only so much can be worked out perform actually working for an audience. So I suggest you find audiences that can't afford a pro and do volunteer work.
