Oil and Water effect...

I remember reading about an "Oil and Water" effect in Magicana, but I can't find it. I've currently looked over all of my 2003/2004 issues of Genii with no success. Does anyone remember which issue it's in?

Was it Shiv Duggal's? An excellent effect that relies on unusual methods. You need to look in 2007, I think.
We also printed a method by Hiro Sakai.

Thanks Richard. I looked through the all-Japanese issue, Tomo Maeda's issue, and that issue with Hiro Sakai's picture near the bottom of the cover with no success. I'll jump to 2007 and continue the search...

It wasn't in the all-Japanese issue. Look through 2006 and 2007. (There's an index for every year except 2007, so it shouldn't be difficult to find.)

I believe I found it. It's in the October 2006 issue as Hiro Sakai's "Color Sunder." Found it on the web, but will check my Genii collection. Reading/scanning through each back issue is an incredible revelation. Lots of wonderful magic, articles, and reviews worth studying...
