This, an excerpt of an item from the AP, was an AOL lead item. Anyone seen a pack?

---------------
CAMP AS SAYLIYAH, Qatar (April 11) - The U.S. military has issued a most-wanted list in the form of a deck of cards, and Saddam Hussein is the ace of spades in the pack of 55 top figures in his toppled regime.
The cards, with pictures of the most-wanted figures, were distributed to thousands of U.S. troops in the field to help them find the senior members of the government. The names also were being put on posters and handbills for the Iraqi public, Brig. Gen. Vincent Brooks said.
Brooks did not identify those in the deck, except to suggest they included Saddam and his minister of information, Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, who boasted of battlefield successes right up to the time he disappeared Tuesday.
''There are jokers in this deck, there is no doubt about that,'' Brooks said.

Re: Iraqui Pack
So - what tricks would you do with the pack?
Ambitious Card with the Saddam Card is the obvious one...
Torn and not restored card?
Oil and water?
Don't Follow the Leader?
Out of This Country?
Peter Kane's Gun Trick?
Probably a good source is Michael Ammar's new "Easy to Master Countries" DVD series.

Re: Iraqui Pack
Note that the guy states that the pictures are printed on "photo stock." Doesn't sound like a deck of cards to me.

Re: Iraqui Pack
"Sole Survivor" by Bob Neale (the original version from MAGIC & MEANING, not the "softer" version from LIFE, DEATH & OTHER CARD TRICKS).
Re: Iraqui Pack
On Fox News, someone showed the deck in Qatar and it looked like photo stock, the back design was camo and the paper looked less than card stock thick, the corners were square.
Stay tooned.

Re: Iraqui Pack
I just ordered some decks from a site called www.GreatUSAflags.com These are said to be manufactured by the same company which supplied the military the decks. These are $5.95 each or $19.95 for 4. You might want to check it out.

We've already locked a topic along these lines, and this will be the second one. Let's have no more posts about these decks, please.
